GET YER ROCKS OFF

Well not actually a show, but still a retro themed party. Hosted by Joystick Junkies, between 6pm and 11pm there is a fashion show, photo booth, video game and talent contests. Then after 11pm, the party continues with house, r&b, and 80's music through to Saturday morning. These guys are certainly making retro games chic, check out their section in the 'get it on' page for details of their great t-shirts.

In October 2006 the Game On exhibition returned to the UK and is now running within the Science Museum in London. Plotting the history of games, from the 60's DEC PDP-1 through to the latest game consoles, with both display only and hands-on items. The exbition is dividing in sections, including early arcade machines, home videogames, games culture around the world, sound, graphics, and media.
